We have been a bit slack of late - the school holidays have been so busy with booked up rides all day every day! With the exception of Tuesday where we had thunder we've had such a great time out riding on the hills, even getting in some stunning days like this one. Blue skies, lovely horses, time out with friends and family...what more could you want.
Don't forget about the 30 minute lessons being offered these holidays. a great chance to have a go and see if you might want to book a term of lessons. For these please contact Elissa on 0212162717.
There are still some spaces on a few rides this week coming so if you want to get your trek in before you go back to school give us a call or text on 021487087 or email us here.
No posts for a few days...we have been super busy! Normal riding going on, but we have just hit the school holidays so open every day for rides, and it's winter so we are now feeding out bailage, and we have our new horse who is learning the ropes. Our horse treks are already filling up for the first week of the holidays so give us a call on 021487087 to book your spot and avoid disappointment, alternatively you can contact us here.
For the holidays we are running one off 30 minute lessons. so if you think you might want to go to horse riding lessons on a regular basis after school now is a great time to try it out. spaces are limited and the cost is $35. Normal lessons are run after school and cost $50 per week with a commitment of a term required (payment in two 5 week installments.)
Just one more day till the holidays! Who else is counting down the hours! Can't wait to be at this every day for 2 whole weeks! We already have heaps of bookings coming in but it's not too late to get your horse ride sorted. We also just had a cancellation due to injury on Saturday morning...not often that that ride is free so give us a call or text to snap it up on 021487087.
Horse riding holidays are the best and we are looking forward to meeting lots of you and hopefully taking our horses on another outing as well. Where else would you want to be?!? Before you come on a ride you might want to check out some of our photos, videos, and social media to see what you might encounter on the horse trek.
School holidays are just around the corner and we are open every day! Get your friends and family together now and make the most of the kids time of school by coming for a ride on our awesome horses. We already have heaps of bookings coming in, but there is still time for you to get in and enjoy our horses and trails.
And don't forget, private horse riding lessons are still available. It's a great way to take your riding to the next level and up skill yourself. Elissa takes private lessons and groups of 2, so you get quality instruction time each week (1 term commitment required).
Give us a call to book a trek or inquire about lessons here.
Here it is...our exciting news! Meet Barney! This is the newest addition to the Ti Tree Hills Trekking Team. He's a 10 year old standard bred with a pretty face. He stayed in a paddock last night and tonight he went out with the rest of the herd. Very happy to be out on the hills! We are looking forward to getting to know him more and starting to ride him later this week.
School holidays are coming up next week so we are open every day for trekking. Give us a call and sort out your booking for the holidays - such a great family outing during school break! Phone or text 021487087.
We had the most stunning winters day today out on the hills horse back riding. Blue skies, sunshine, no wind...couldn't have asked for better! We have our fingers crossed that it lasts for tomorrow, and we might have a special announcement in the afternoon...you'll have to stay tuned to find out!
Absolutely love this photo of two of our grazers heading out for a ride at the end of the day! Our paths intersected at just the right moment when we where coming back from our 3pm horse trek.
We still have space on our 1pm ride tomorrow. Give us a call on 021487087 to secure your spot!
Every horse has it's own unique character and personality. Rata is a really gentleman...except when the camera comes out. Then he seems to be more of a silly teenager. It seems every time I stop to take photos I get a number with him pulling faces and his tongue hanging out. What a goof-ball! Much to the amusement of his rider.
This weekend is filling up, get in touch now to book your ride or give us a call or text on 021487087.
This weekend is looking like it's gonna be great weather for riding, so make the most of it as we head into winter and the sun gets a more scarce!
It's always such a pleasure to share someone's first horse trekking experience...even better when they come away thinking horse riding is the best thing ever! This young girl was all smiles the whole way round the trails and was beaming by the time she got back, exclaiming Coco was "the best horse ever!" We're inclined to agree - he was perfectly well behaved for her and gave her a great introduction to the wonderful world of horse riding. Check out what you might encounter on a ride with us in our gallery.
This weekend is booking up fast, so make sure you give us a call on 021487087 or contact us here to arrange your booking! We look forward to sharing our wonderful safe horses with you.
Today couldn't have been more perfect! Crisp morning, blue sky, sun...not a breath of wind and some fabulous horse riding! Love winter riding on days like that and then heading home for a nice warm shower and some take outs (coz who wants to cook when you have been on a horse all day right?!?)
More ride planned for tomorrow and a couple of cancellations so give us a call on 021487087 or contact us here to get your booking in.
This week we are launching a couple of new exciting initiatives so keep your eyes peeled for news and updates :)
Well the weather seems to be more or less over and we are looking forward to getting back in to riding and trekking this weekend...so tomorrow morning we'll be out rounding up horses and then tackling the mud they are sure to be covered in! Something you learn with horses is that every season has good and bad points and the worst part of this season is the mud and how long it can take to get the horses looking nice at the start of the day...not to mention that after they have been out on one ride you look at them and think "did I wash you?" haha. That being said itching to get back to it. looking forward to meeting some of you tomorrow during the horse rides.
